Sports Immersion Program
Sports College SA students achieve their SACE by studying Stage 1 and 2 subjects through an innovative Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach, which provides authentic learning experiences immersed in the sports industry.

Big shoutout to SAFC student surfer Mitchell Henderson who has been nominated to represent Sports College SA in the 2026 MR Shield selection process with Surfing South Australia! 🏄♂️
The MR Shield helps determine South Australia’s representative school surfing teams for the Australian Interschool Surfing Championships, with nationals taking place later this year in Margaret River, WA.

What a game from our SCSA girls!
A combined SCSA team made up of 6 Gepps Cross students, 5 Ellis Park students and 4 Cove students took on the Underdale Year 7/8 Advanced Boys team in a fast-paced and highly competitive 9-a-side clash.
The girls came out strong early, dominating possession and creating plenty of opportunities, while Bianca pulled off some crucial saves to keep the game level. Underdale eventually found the opener late in the first half, but the girls responded immediately after the break with a whole new energy.
An incredible assist from Adelaide United rising star Ilona Melegh set Louanne through for the equaliser before the pair linked up again in the final minutes, this time with a classy backheel assist from Ilona for Louanne to slot home the winner 😮💨⚽
From end-to-end pressure, last-ditch defending and standout goalkeeping on both sides, the match had everything. Most importantly, it was played in great spirits and showcased the way our girls came together, competed and represented SCSA💚💙
