Jett is a Year 12 student at AFL Edwardstown and is a remarkable example of what it means to strive for excellence both inside and outside the classroom.
Jett consistently demonstrates outstanding dedication, leadership and professionalism across every aspect of his life. While completing his ATAR, he is also undertaking extension studies at Flinders University, where he recently completed Anatomy and Physiology with a Distinction. His passion for understanding human performance has inspired his ambition to pursue a career in physiotherapy or exercise physiology, and he continues to challenge himself while preparing for the next stage of his journey.
His commitment extends beyond the classroom. Jett has already completed a Certificate IV in Fitness this year, further demonstrating his passion for health, performance and lifelong learning.
A talented athlete, Jett is an elite middle-distance runner who trains with Flinders Edge. He balances the demands of high-performance sport and study with ease, while also giving back by coaching young athletes and supporting their development both on and off the track. In football, Jett has built an impressive reputation as a SANFL umpire, consistently demonstrating confidence, resilience and exceptional decision-making under pressure. He also runs his own coaching and training program for aspiring junior footballers, helping the next generation develop their skills, confidence and love for the game.
Within Sports College South Australia, Jett is a respected Class Captain who leads by example every day. Whether in the classroom, at community clinics, on the football field, at the running track or in the wider community, he is admired for his maturity, kindness, humour and unwavering work ethic. He is always willing to support others and approaches every opportunity with humility and determination.
