Tjindu AFL Academy
A strong education partnership
Sports College South Australia (SCSA) is proud to partner with the Tjindu Foundation to strengthen learning pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people through sport, education and connection. This education partnership brings together two organisations with a shared commitment to empowering First Nations young people through culturally strong, meaningful pathways that support wellbeing, identity and achievement — on and off the field.
Â
Strengthening SACE pathways
Through the partnership, Tjindu Academy participants continue their strong SACE pathways, with the collaboration increasing the Academy’s capability to extend and include more SACE outcomes alongside its sporting and cultural programs.
Â
Students remain immersed in Tjindu’s Academy model while benefiting from SCSA’s flexible and inclusive learning environment, designed to recognise different strengths, experiences and goals.
Learning is:
- Connected to sport and real-world experiences
- Flexible and strengths-based
- Designed to build confidence, leadership and life skills
- Aligned with individual pathways and future aspirations
